War

In 2017, I worked as a freelance designer to redesign the UI and UX of the online and mobile versions of War, the Brazilian version of Risk, published by Grow.

At the time, the interface was primarily desktop-oriented and presented usability and clarity issues. The goal was to create a mobile-first experience with improved usability, using the mobile version of Risk as a key reference.

In addition to the redesign, I created new interface components from scratch, such as the in-game chat and match history menus, improving access to information and overall usability.

The images sequence below compare the original version with the redesigned interface. The map was not part of my scope, as my work focused on the UI. Some elements of the original visual language, such as the brushed metal panels and icon style, were preserved to maintain familiarity for existing players.

The redesign remained in use for several years after delivery. While the current version has been fully updated, some structural decisions from this iteration are still reflected in the overall experience.
